- Use no more than 12 thread colors per design. Available colors: White, Black, Silver, Gold, Red, Blue, Green, Yellow, Orange, Light Pink, Light Blue and Brown. We select the nearest available thread match to your artwork; review colors on your proof.
- Artwork size:
- Create left or right chest embroidery within a 4 × 4 inch area at the intended final size.
- Stitch preparation:
- Send original artwork rather than pre-digitized stitch files. We arrange digitization for production at no extra charge.
- Design Requirements:
- Use simple, bold shapes. Avoid photographic artwork, gradients, shadows, fine lines and intricate details.
- Lettering:
- Make letters at least 0.25 inch high and strokes at least 0.05 inch thick. About 24 pt may work, depending on the font; always check actual dimensions and readability at final size.
- Fonts:
- Simple sans serif fonts work well. Script and decorative fonts can lose small details. Convert all text to outlines to prevent font substitutions.
- Design density:
- Each design may contain up to 10,000 stitches. If your artwork exceeds this limit, we may contact you to simplify it before production.
