- Prepare a separate mask
Supply a black-and-white mask aligned to your color artwork. Keep raised elements inside the trim edge. Ask our team to review fine text, opacity and mask alignment before production.
- Review the full layout
Use 300 dpi artwork with 0.125-inch bleed for the printed background. Raised finishes do not extend to the trim edge. Check the color artwork and finish mask together in your proof.

Which paper works with this finish?
These cards use 16 pt. Premium Matte paper. This page keeps that paper selected with square corners and no additional coating so the raised finish remains compatible.
How is raised UV different from foil?
Raised UV is a clear gloss applied over selected printed areas. Foil adds a metallic gold, silver or rose-gold surface instead.
Can the raised detail run to the edge?
Keep raised UV and foil away from the finished trim edge. The printed background still needs bleed. Send the separate mask with your artwork and request a file check before approving your proof.
Can I use other printed products?
Raised finishes also appear on selected bookmarks, greeting cards, folded business cards, rack cards, collectors cards and club flyers. Check each product’s available finishes before ordering.
