- Plan placement from the front neckline. Confirm the intended size and position on your proof.
- Back placement:
- Plan placement from the back neckline separately from the front. Confirm the intended size and position on your proof.
- Men/Unisex and women:
- Confirm the printable area for your selected adult garment size before finalizing artwork.
- Youth and toddler:
- Use crew neck garments only. Smaller shirts need a smaller print area; confirm a legible design size for each fit.
Provide the intended design width and height with your artwork. Ask our team to confirm the printable area and distance from the neckline for the smallest shirt in the order; do not assume one print size fits every garment.
Screen colors can differ from printed fabric. Review size, position, colors and spelling on the digital proof before approving.

Choose a fit first, then assign your selected total quantity across the sizes available for that fit. Contact us for garment measurements before ordering if you need sizing advice.
- Bleed:
- No trim bleed is needed for a placed T-shirt design. The 0.125 in bleed used for trimmed paper products does not apply to this garment.
- Artwork size and safe zone:
- Prepare artwork at the intended print size after confirming the garment’s printable area. Keep text and logos at least 0.125 in inside that area. Confirm sizing for each selected fit on your proof; no fixed print dimensions are promised.
- Resolution:
- 300 dpi at final print size.
- Color mode:
- CMYK. Screen colors may look different when printed on fabric.
- File formats:
- PDF, PNG, JPG or TIFF. Embed or outline fonts in PDF files. Send a separate file or page for each printed side.
- Backgrounds:
- White or other solid backgrounds may print with your image. Use a transparent background where the shirt should remain visible; PNG supports transparency, JPG does not.
- Text:
- Use clear lettering and avoid text below 12 pt at final size. Check legibility again if the design is reduced for youth or toddler shirts.
- File upload:
- Submit artwork from your order page after checkout. If your file cannot upload, contact our team for help.
- Proof and corrections:
- We check your files and send a digital proof for approval before printing. Allow time for corrections; contact us for the review schedule. Review placement, spelling and size carefully.
