- More Info:
- Hand out a card series at conventions, trade shows or club events. Feature books, comics, artwork or individual team members.
- Choose gloss for reflective photographs, uncoated for a natural surface, or matte for a quieter finish. Layered Trifecta stocks add a colored edge.
- Linen adds woven texture; pearl adds shimmer; kraft adds a brown background; smooth white gives artwork a clean base.
- Coated surfaces can resist pen ink and overprinting. Compare a sample before planning signatures; this catalog does not offer a separate front-only coating selection.
- Use uncoated stock for autographs or handwritten notes. Leave the writing area free of printed ink and test your pen on a sample.
- Our quantity menu runs from 50 to 30,000 cards. Use the order form to compare the sample total for your paper and printed sides.
- Build a consistent 2.5 x 3.5 inch series with a portrait or illustration on the front and statistics, a short story or contact details on the reverse.
- Cover means heavier card paper; book and text describe lighter paper. A matte finish has little shine, while a gloss surface reflects more light.
- Large dark ink areas on uncoated paper can transfer to neighboring cards. Consider lighter coverage and allow open space in the layout.
- Gloss surfaces tend to make colors look brighter; matte and uncoated surfaces give a softer appearance. C2S is a paper term for coating on both faces.
All of our paper stocks are premium quality and printed in full color.

- Bleed:
- Add 0.125 inch beyond each trimmed edge. A vertical 2.5 x 3.5 inch card needs a 2.75 x 3.75 inch artwork file; horizontal artwork is 3.75 x 2.75 inches.
- Safe Zone:
- Keep names, statistics, borders and logos at least 0.125 inch inside the trim. The vertical safe area is 2.25 x 3.25 inches. Backgrounds must extend through the bleed.
- Resolution:
- Use 300 dpi at the final print size. A vertical file including bleed is 825 x 1125 pixels; reverse these dimensions for horizontal artwork.
- Color Mode:
- Prepare artwork in CMYK. Screen colors can differ from the printed result, especially on kraft and pearl stocks.
- File Formats:
- Send a print-ready PDF, PNG, JPG or TIFF. Flatten image layers and embed or outline fonts in PDF files.
- Upload Size:
- Check the maximum file size shown by the upload form before sending artwork. Flatten layers and remove unused content to reduce file size while keeping images at 300 dpi.
- Printed Sides:
- Supply one page or file for each printed side. Match the front and back orientation, and check that each player name, portrait and set number belongs together.
- Trim and Finishing:
- Prepare a rectangular card at the catalog size. Folding, hole drilling, die cutting, rounded corners and raised UV or foil are not selectable options for this product.
- Proof Review:
- Check spelling, small text, image quality, front/back pairing and trim placement in your digital proof. Approve the proof before printing; contact us if a file needs correction.
For a reusable layout, mark the trim at 2.5 x 3.5 inches inside a 2.75 x 3.75 inch canvas. Keep guide lines off the exported artwork. Contact our design team if you need help preparing the layout.
- Vertical Layout:
- Finished size: 2.5 x 3.5 inches. Canvas with bleed: 2.75 x 3.75 inches. Safe area: 2.25 x 3.25 inches.
- Horizontal Layout:
- Finished size: 3.5 x 2.5 inches. Canvas with bleed: 3.75 x 2.75 inches. Safe area: 3.25 x 2.25 inches.
- Export:
- Remove guide lines, flatten image layers and embed or outline PDF fonts. Export PDF, PNG, JPG or TIFF with 300 dpi images in CMYK.
Use these dimensions to build your own reusable layout. For a layout made for your team or business, use Design Services or contact our design team. Review the File Setup tab before exporting your artwork.
