- Gloss adds shine to photographs and colorful offers. Uncoated stock has a natural surface, while matte stock keeps reflections subdued.
- High-gloss UV adds shine and helps protect cards from surface damage. UV-coated areas cannot be written on or overprinted. Choose uncoated paper for handwritten notes and test your pen first.
- Front-only UV can make the two sides look different in color and brightness.

- Bleed:
- Extend backgrounds 0.125" beyond each trim edge. For the 3.5" x 8.5" postcard format, export 3.75" x 8.75" including bleed. The 3.5" x 11" formats need 3.75" x 11.25" including bleed.
- Safe Zone:
- Keep essential text, logos and QR codes at least 0.125" inside the trim. Leave at least 0.125" of clearance on each side of the perforation and around the door-hanger cutout; confirm the production guide before placing artwork near these areas.
- Resolution:
- Prepare images at 350 dpi at the final printed size.
- Color Mode:
- Prepare artwork in CMYK for full-color printing.
- File Formats:
- Upload a print-ready PDF, PNG, JPG or TIFF. Embed or outline fonts in PDFs and flatten image layers and transparency before export. Keep an editable original.
- Maximum File Upload Size:
- The upload control shows the current file-size limit. Flatten layers to reduce file size, or contact our team if your artwork exceeds that limit.
- Perforation and Die Cut:
- Confirm the tear-off position for your format before finalizing artwork. Keep business-card details within the detachable area. For door hangers, confirm the hanging-hole and slit positions. Keep perforation, cut and hole guide marks out of the printed artwork.
- Orientation and Printed Sides:
- Choose horizontal or vertical orientation and use the same orientation for both sides. Send one page per printed side. Front-only orders need no back artwork. These cards are flat; no fold marks are needed.
- Instant Online Proof:
- Review the instant preview when uploading PDF, PNG or JPG artwork. You are responsible for checking the file and placement before approval; do not rely on another proof to catch errors.
- Manually Processed PDF Proof:
- Our team checks file specifications and contacts you if corrections are needed. Review and approve the PDF proof before production. Allow time for this review and any revisions.
- Included File Processing:
- Your print price includes processing one set of artwork and preparing one proof. Sign in to your account to check order status at any time.
- Digital Proof:
- Check dimensions, perforation clearance, door-hanger cutout clearance, front/back alignment, spelling, phone numbers and QR codes before approving your proof. Production follows approval; allow time for file corrections.
Flatten image layers to keep files manageable. If a file will not upload, contact our team for help. Confirm the production and delivery schedule after your artwork is ready, especially when ordering for an event.

- Preparing Artwork:
- Allow 0.125" bleed per edge and keep essential content at least 0.125" inside the trim and clear of the tear-off line. Flatten image layers, embed or outline PDF fonts, and export PDF, PNG, JPG or TIFF in CMYK at 350 dpi.
