- More Info:
- Announce concerts, film screenings, exhibitions, theater performances or business events. Posters also work for photographs, keepsakes and retail offers.
- Gloss adds a reflective surface to colorful images; matte gives text and artwork a quieter appearance.
- Bulk quantities are 100, 250, 500, 1,000, 2,500, 5,000 and 10,000. Check your size, paper and quantity together in the order form.
- On 80 lb. and 100 lb. Gloss Book, orders of 250 or more include aqueous coating. Orders of 100 or fewer use digital printing without an added coating.
- Cover means thicker card stock; book and text mean flexible paper. Our 100 lb. Gloss Book is 5 pt.; both 80 lb. papers are 4 pt. Weight and caliper describe different properties.
- Gloss helps colors look brighter; dull or uncoated paper gives a softer result. A matte finish is flat, aqueous is glossy, and high-gloss UV has a stronger shine. These terms describe finishes; UV is not a selectable coating for this poster product.
- Do not plan to write or overprint on UV-coated paper. Writing on aqueous coating is not guaranteed; test a sample first. Avoid heavy dark coverage on uncoated paper because wet ink can transfer to the next sheet. C2S means gloss coated on both faces.
All of our paper stocks are premium quality and printed in full color.

- Bleed:
- Extend backgrounds 0.125 in beyond every trim edge. Add 0.25 in to the finished width and height: an 18 x 24 in poster needs an 18.25 x 24.25 in file.
- Safe zone:
- Keep text, logos and important image details at least 0.125 in inside the finished edge. The trim line is the final cut; bleed lies outside it.
- Resolution:
- Use 350 dpi at the final poster size. Enlarging a small image does not add detail; inspect photographs at full print size.
- Color mode:
- Prepare print artwork in CMYK. Screen colors can differ from printed colors.
- File formats:
- PDF is preferred; PNG, JPG, TIF and TIFF are also accepted. For EPS, native Illustrator or Photoshop, BMP and GIF files, export a PDF or contact our team for artwork delivery. Flatten image layers and embed or outline PDF fonts.
- Upload size:
- The uploader currently accepts files up to 50 MiB. For larger files, contact us to arrange delivery of an artwork link.
- Printed sides and orientation:
- Supply one page for front-only printing or two pages for both sides, in front-then-back order. Match horizontal or vertical orientation to the selected size and check the back is the right way up.
- Finishing:
- These are flat rectangular posters. Folding, hole drilling and die cutting are not listed options; keep fold guides and cutting marks out of the printed design.
- Proof review:
- Check the digital proof for spelling, dates, image quality, page order and trim before approving. You are responsible for the artwork you approve. Contact our team about corrections and current timing before an event deadline.
- Online proof:
- Review your on-screen proof carefully before approval. If you choose this proof route, check the complete artwork for errors; an additional manual proof is not included in that route. Ask our team about the available proof options for your files.
- Manually processed PDF proof:
- Our team can check your file specifications and send a PDF proof for approval. If the files need correction, we will contact you. Allow time for review and changes before production; confirm the current schedule with our team.
- Included file processing:
- Pricing includes processing one uploaded file set and preparing one proof. Check your order status in your account. Ask our team before sending replacement files or requesting further proofs.
Prepare files for the exact size and paper you order. Allow time for file corrections and approval before production; confirm the proof schedule with our team. Incorrect files can delay production. If you need to supply files on physical media, arrange delivery with our team first; review starts once the files arrive. Holiday schedules can require extra review time.
- Portrait and landscape sizes:
- 8" x 10", 11" x 14", 11" x 17", 13" x 19", 16" x 20", 18" x 24", 19" x 27", 20" x 24", 24" x 36", 24" x 38", 26" x 39" and 27" x 39". Swap width and height for landscape orientation.
- Square size:
- 12" x 12" finished; prepare a 12.25" x 12.25" file including bleed.
- Layout preparation:
- Build a layout at the finished size plus 0.125 in bleed on every edge, with key content 0.125 in inside trim. Use 350 dpi and CMYK; export PDF, PNG, JPG or TIFF. Flatten image layers and embed or outline PDF fonts.
For a photo-heavy layout, JPG can reduce file size; a print-ready PDF preserves text and layout. Check the exported artwork at full size.

Paper and Coating Guide
Book and text are flexible papers; cover is thicker card stock. Gloss creates brighter-looking color, while matte and uncoated surfaces give a softer effect. C2S describes a sheet gloss coated on both sides.
Aqueous is a glossy coating; UV creates a high-gloss surface; matte is flat. UV-coated sheets are unsuitable for writing or overprinting. Writing on aqueous coating is not guaranteed. Test a sample before adding handwritten details, and avoid heavy dark ink coverage on uncoated paper to reduce ink transfer.
