- Compare 100 lb. / 10 pt. gloss and matte, 14 pt. gloss and uncoated, and 16 pt. premium matte. Cover describes thicker card stock; book and text are lighter papers. Matte has a flat, low-sheen finish. C2S means gloss-coated on both sides.
- UV coating adds a glossy surface. Gloss can make colors appear brighter, while an uncoated surface has a softer appearance. Avoid large areas of heavy, dark ink on uncoated paper to reduce ink transfer between sheets.
- UV coating adds shine and surface protection for handling and changing outdoor conditions; the paper is not waterproof. Do not write or overprint on UV. Aqueous is a glossy water-based coating; writing on it is not guaranteed. Uncoated and premium matte offer writable surfaces; test your pen first.
- On 14 pt. Gloss, choose UV for the front or both printed faces. A blank back has no UV coating. Front-only UV can make the two sides appear different in color and brightness.
- Order quantities range from 50 to 50,000; availability can depend on paper. On 100 lb. Gloss, runs of 50 or 100 use digital printing without added coating; quantities of 250 and above receive aqueous coating. Larger runs use offset printing. Review the available combinations and sample total before ordering.
- Keep your message clear of the hanging cutout. Repeat contact details on a tear-off so the detached piece can be used on its own.
- Upload finished artwork or ask our designers for help. Review the digital proof, including both sides and the cutting layout, before approving it for print.

- Prepare artwork in CMYK. Screen colors can differ from printed colors.

- Print-ready PDF preferred. JPG, PNG and TIFF can also be uploaded. Flatten layers and transparency and embed or outline fonts. Ask our team to convert other source formats before upload.
- Hanging cutout and tear-off:
- Request the cutting layout for your selected size and tear-off option before designing. Do not guess the hole, slit or perforation position. Remove cutting guides from the printable artwork. No folding is selected for this product.
- Printed sides:
- Supply one page per printed side, with front and back clearly identified and oriented consistently. No back artwork is needed for a blank back.
- Manually Reviewed PDF Proof:
- We check your files and contact you if corrections are needed. Review your PDF proof for spelling, contact details, image quality, orientation and clearance around the cutout and perforation. Approve it before printing begins.
Processing one uploaded file set and preparing one proof are included. Incorrect dimensions, missing bleed or unclear artwork can require corrections before production. Ask our team about file preparation before uploading if you are unsure.
- Size options:
- Request a free cutting layout for 3.5" x 8.5", 3.5" x 11" rip-card, 4.25" x 11", 5.5" x 17" jumbo or our additional 4.25" x 14" size. Specify the tear-off option.
- Orientation:
- Confirm portrait or landscape artwork against the hanging cutout before starting. The hole and slit must remain in the correct position when the hanger is used.
- Preparing artwork:
- Include 0.125" bleed and follow the safe zone. Use 350 dpi images in CMYK; export a PDF, PNG, JPG or TIFF. Remove template guides from the print file, embed or outline fonts, and flatten transparency on export.
