- More Info:
- UV printing helps the image resist scratches, abrasion and weather exposure. Cardboards are intended primarily for indoor displays.
- Kraft core weight per square inch: 0.0015 lb at 1/4-inch thickness; 0.0017 lb at 1/2-inch thickness.
- White core weight per square inch: 0.0015 lb at 1/4-inch thickness; 0.0019 lb at 1/2-inch thickness.
- Drilled holes are 0.40" in diameter and positioned 0.375" from the nearest edge. Keep important artwork clear of those areas.
- Accessory availability depends on the sign size and shape. Each suction cup and hook supports a maximum of 1.5 lb; account for the total board weight before hanging.
- Recycled Cardboard Signs for Indoor Promotions: a lightweight, affordable display with a 100% recycled white or kraft corrugated core and bright white semi-gloss liners. The core supports the printed liners and helps protect the image. Use your sign for retail displays, presentations, meetings, trade shows and events.
- Bleed:
- Extend backgrounds 0.125" beyond every trim edge. An 18" x 24" sign needs an 18.25" x 24.25" file including bleed.
- Safe Zone:
- Keep text and logos at least 0.125" inside the cut edge, including curves and shaped edges. Leave additional clearance around mounting holes.
- Resolution:
- Use at least 150 dpi at the final printed size; 300 dpi is recommended for detailed artwork.
- Color Mode:
- Prepare artwork in CMYK. Printed colors may differ from your screen.
- File Formats:
- Print-ready PDF preferred; PNG, JPG and TIFF are also accepted. Flatten image layers and embed or outline fonts in PDFs.
- File Size:
- Keep artwork within 75 MB and follow the current limit shown in the upload window if it is lower. Contact our team for help reducing larger artwork files.
- Printed Sides:
- Supply one artwork page per printed side. Match the front and back orientation to the selected horizontal or vertical layout.
- Shaped Signs and Holes:
- Confirm the cutting outline for half arches, half circles, rounded shapes and other silhouettes before finalizing artwork. Keep guides and hole marks out of the printable artwork. Allow for 0.40-inch holes positioned 0.375 inches from the nearest edge.
- Instant Online Proof:
- Review and approve the upload preview before ordering. Check every detail yourself; choosing an instant proof does not include a second manual proof.
- Manually Processed PDF Proof:
- Our team checks the file specifications and contacts you if corrections are needed. Review and approve the PDF proof before production; confirm current proof timing with our team.
- Digital Proof Review:
- Review the digital proof for spelling, cropping, orientation, cut edges and hole clearance before approval. File corrections may affect the production schedule.
Processing one set of uploaded artwork and one proof is included. Our team can check file specifications and send a PDF proof for your approval; if changes are needed, we will contact you. - Rectangle and Square:
- Start with your selected trim size and add 0.25" to each overall dimension for bleed. For example, 9" x 24" becomes 9.25" x 24.25", and 23" x 23" becomes 23.25" x 23.25".

- Vertical and Horizontal:
- Swap width and height for the other orientation. Square signs use equal dimensions. Check front and back orientation together.
- Rounded Rectangle and Square:
- Use the selected size and bleed, keeping important content clear of the curved corners. Confirm the corner outline before completing your design.
- Shapes:
- For Circle, Oval, Octagon, Star, Arrow, House, Apartment, Half Circle (Tall), Half Circle (Short) and Half Arch (Tall) signs, contact our team to confirm the cutting outline for your selected size. Keep important artwork inside the silhouette.
- Half Circle (Tall) and Half Arch (Tall):
- Use the 9" x 18" or 20" x 36" layout for tall shapes.
- Half Circle (Short):
- Use the 14" x 28" or 15" x 30" layout for short half circles.

- Preparing Artwork:
