- Choose a mounting method that supports the board's size and weight; confirm the installation surface before ordering accessories.
- Leave space around drilled holes so mounting hardware does not cover text, logos or other important artwork. Confirm hole placement with our team before finalizing the file.
- Review the selected size, shape, orientation and hole pattern together before approving your proof.
- Upload your own print-ready artwork or request design help. You approve a digital proof before printing.
- Bleed:
- Extend backgrounds 0.125" beyond the finished edge on every side, including curved or shaped edges.
- Safe Zone:
- Keep text and logos at least 0.125" inside the cut edge. Allow extra room near drilled holes and narrow points on shapes.
- Resolution:
- Prepare images at 300 dpi at the final printed size.
- Color Mode:
- Use CMYK. White areas remain transparent; check light colors against the intended display background.
- File Formats:
- Send a print-ready PDF, PNG, JPG or TIFF. Embed or outline fonts in PDF files and flatten image layers before export.
- Shape and Orientation:
- Build one front artwork file for the selected size, shape and horizontal or vertical orientation. Check curved edges, rounded corners and narrow points before export.
- Hole Drilling:
- Keep important content away from the selected hole locations. Ask our team to confirm the hole layout before preparing artwork that depends on exact placement.
- Proof Review:
- We check your artwork and send a digital proof. Review the wording, size, shape and placement carefully; printing starts after your approval. File corrections may affect scheduling.

- Rectangle and Square:
- Use the size selected on the order form. Add 0.125" bleed on each edge; a 12" x 18" sign needs a 12.25" x 18.25" artwork canvas including bleed. Match the chosen horizontal or vertical orientation.
- Rounded Rectangle and Rounded Square:
- Keep important artwork clear of rounded corners. Confirm the cut outline with our team before laying out text close to an edge.
- Other Shapes:
- Circle, Oval, Octagon, Star, Arrow, House, Apartment, Half Circle and Half Arch each need artwork that follows the selected outline. Ask our team for setup help for the exact shape and size.
- Export Checklist:
- Use CMYK and 300 dpi images. Embed or outline fonts in PDFs, flatten image layers and export as PDF, PNG, JPG or TIFF. Check bleed, safe zones and drilled-hole clearance before upload.
